Discussions underway over enforcement during Gozo carnival season

Jan 20 2021 Share

Clint Camilleri who is the Gozo Minister has confirmed that discussions are underway regarding the issue of enforcement during the upcoming Gozo Carnival season.

Camilleri also said that he does not think that Carnival itself will result in an influx of people going to Gozo since most major activities have been cancelled. The problem might lie with people who travel to Gozo over the three day holiday and reside in accommodations with more people other than those in their bubble.

PN MP Maria Deguara also said that youths who think that they are immune to the disease might bring about problems and she also added that they should be asked to disclose their address and the number of people who will be residing there.
