12-year-old boy on the autism spectrum published his 3rd book

All fifth year students will be given this book for free.

‘Me and Beppe, Beppe and me’ will be distributed free of charge to all 5th year students in Malta and Gozo.

Beppe communicates and wrote the books through a tablet.

Beppe’s dream came true because he always wanted to collaborate with Clare Azzopardi.

The Ministry for Inclusion, Volunteering and Consumer Rights paid for the publication of this book that is also being used to convey a positive message of inclusion in a versatile way.

The publisher is Chris Gruppetta from Merlin Publishers with illustration by Kyle Xuereb Cunningham.

Singer and daughter of Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie dies aged 54

Lisa Marie, singer and the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, has died at the age of 54, after suddenly being hospitalised last night.

Presley was taken to hospital from her home in California, after a reported cardiac arrest.

Her mother asked fans to keep her daughter.

The family said they were “shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Lisa Marie” and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

The musician appeared with her mother at the Golden Globes awards ceremony in Los Angeles two days before she was hospitalised.

Thief filmed robbing Ħamrun cafeteria via CCTV

A video uploaded to Facebook by Rachel Borg shows a man breaking into ‘Tazza Te’, a cafeteria in Ħamrun, and making off with various items. 

The video was reshaped onto Facebook group Expats Malta, echoing the call for any possible information on the individual.

‘Help us find this thief! A reward will be given to anyone who can identify this person. Lets help our community to remain safe as tomorrow could be anyone of us who can be robbed – Tazza Te’ Hamrun/ Gwardamangia area’ the post said. 

According to Borg speaking to newsroom Lovin Malta, the thief hovered around the area for around an hour before breaking in at around 0010am. He stayed inside the cafeteria for up to 10 minutes before running off with Bolt and Wolt iPads as well as an undisclosed amount of cash.
