106 COVID-19 cases registered overnight with 128 recoveries

Malta has registered 106 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours from 2,626 swab tests, while 128 patients have recovered. This information was announced by the official Facebook page of Malta’s Ministry for Health.

From yesterday’s cases; 44 cases were family members of previously known cases, 11 cases were contact of positive work colleagues, 2 cases were direct contacts with other positive cases.

To date, Malta has registered 10,884 COVID-19 cases in total, of which: 8,848 have recovered, 164 died and 1,872 are still active.

Rossi was a World Cup hero in 1982 and also held an Italian football career playing for Vincenza, Juventus and Milan.

Two people suspected of hold-up were arrested yesterday morning

A 34-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were arrested yesterday morning.

Both suspects are being tied to a hold-up which occurred a month ago.

Both parties will be addressed in court today.
