Malta has registered 102 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours from 2,116 swab tests, while 124 patients have recovered. This information was announced by the official Facebook page of Malta’s Ministry for Health.
As of Monday 15th February 2021, 53,647 vaccine doses were administered.
To date, Malta has registered 20,047 COVID-19 cases in total, of which: 17,434 have recovered, 297 died and 2,316 are still active.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health, Chris Fearne said in Parliament while answering a question that 91% of front liners have been inoculated against COVID-19.

Since the opening of school in October 2020 until the 11th of February 2021, 2,227 COVID-19 cases were investigated in childcare centres, kindergartens, primary and secondary schools and also post-secondary entities.
Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Chris Fearne stated during a parliamentary session that when a schools contact tracing team is informed about a positive case, the measures are followed accordingly.
Parents are informed on the same day or the day after and tests and quarantine regulations are followed normally.
