“Next I’m buying Coca-Cola to put the cocaine back in”; Elon Musk tweet goes viral

"Next I’m buying Coca-Cola to put the cocaine back in"; Elon Musk tweet goes viral
Apr 28 2022 Share

Following his gargantuan purchase of media platform Twitter at $44 billion, Elon Musk continues to make international headlines with yet another puzzling Tweet.

Earlier today, the Tesla and SpaceX boss took to Twitter to write “Next I’m buying Coca-Cola to put the cocaine back in”, leaving the world in a frenzy. Whilst nothing is off the table for the richest man in the world with a history of erratic behaviour, the Tweet is more likely to be a joke.

Nevertheless, thousands upon thousands of Twitter replies joined in on the fun, with one user in particular writing “I don’t know about you but… I’m liking the new ownership already @elonmusk.” Users on the other side of the coin said that such a move is ‘Kanye West level crazy’, criticising claims of such a purchase.

Musk had previously stated that twitter has “tremendous potential”, which he pledged to unlock, also promising to relax content restrictions and terminate fake accounts for good.

Do you think Elon could actually buy Coca-Cola?
