Health Minister Chris Fearne has announced that as of today, 1 out of 3 adults have been vaccinated against COVID-19. Today also marks Malta’s Freedom Day, and thus Fearne calls it a Freedom Day with a difference as we continue to combat the pandemic with jabs and health measures.

Today also sees the implementation of the new measure which states that only groups of 2 people can be in public, unless they are coming from the same household. Despite the vaccine roll-out working effectively along with the measures, it is of vital importance that the public adhere to the health measures so as to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
