0 COVID-19 cases registered overnight with 2 recoveries

Malta has registered 0 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours from 2,227 swab tests, while 2 patients have recovered. No deaths were registered in the past 24 hours. This information was announced by the official Facebook page of Malta’s Ministry for Health.

As of Saturday 26th June 2021, 653,005 vaccine doses were administered of which 356,128 were 1st doses. 309,871 people are currently fully vaccinated.

To date, Malta has registered 30,606 COVID-19 cases in total, of which: 30,158 have recovered, 420 died and 28 are still active.

The Arab Israeli video blogger also highlighted that his company is now 100-people strong, going on to thank the people for giving value to the brand by telling their stories and believing in their values.

Nas Daily had visited in Malta back in 2018, eventually meeting President Emeritus Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca as well as the Malta Tourism Authority to make his iconic phrase ‘Oh My Malta’ as the country’s official slogan.

UK registers highest daily cases since February amid vaccination campaign

On Saturday, the United Kingdom registered its highest number of new COVID-19 cases since February amid the National Health Service’s current ‘Grab a Jab’ campaign to drive up vaccination numbers.

Figures published by the government highlighted that 18,270 individuals tested positive for COVID-19 in the UK, being the highest daily case rate since 5 February, with around 100,000 having tested positive over the past week.

Most of the new cases have been attributed to the entry of the delta variant into the UK, with most cases being amongst younger citizens who have yet to receive their vaccine.

This week, Malta made it into the UK’s travel green list, with Britons being allowed to come to Malta from 1 July.

Carnage ensued at the Tour De France opening stage after approximately twenty riders were part of a mass pile-up and needing attention.

This is the second mass fall during the Tour De France, with the first one occurring after a rider’s journey was impeded by a fan holding a sign, causing a mass fall between German Tony Martin and fellow riders.
